The Triathlon is an event that encourages children from the Franklin District to challenge themselves & enjoy the experience of taking part in one of New Zealand's fastest growing sports.
It is an annual event that we have been involved with for 8 years. It attracts 400 School Aged Competitors and 500 plus parents/ supporters each year. It is a great community event supported by Schools, Local Police, Auckland Council, Surf Lifesaving NZ and other businesses and people in the community.
We have formed a volunteer committee to organize and run the event. All proceeds from the Triathlon get reinvested in sports in the Franklin Area. Every child who participates is awarded a medal, certificate and a goodie bag for completing. In 2015 the event was oversubscribed and we were forced to close entries early. Please enter as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Entries close on Friday 27th February 2016 - NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted.
NB: Entries are limited and will close if full capacity is reached sooner than this.
